We have a P.O box now and can receive letters and packages and such! We would love some season’s greetings, if your family is mailing out holiday cards : ).

We have so many things that we love about our home and experience here, but one area that has been a real challenge is finding quality food stuffs. We don’t have any nice places to go out to eat at, so it’s really up to us to cook at home. When I say us, I really mean Rob. : ) A new grocery store (well mini-market) just opened here, and we have been really happy with the new offerings! We even found kale and spinach! I’m sure I looked like a fool doing a kale happy dance in the middle of the aisle but man it was nice to see some leafy greens! Here are some good finds, and funny finds from our Saudi shopping experiences.

There are constant reminders however, that we are in a different country!

Getting to the stores can be quite the fiasco! Yes this is a street, and yes these cars are parked in the middle of it. No driver to be found…
