About Us
Our brave adventurers, Ashley and Rob, are embarking on an opportunity of a lifetime. Ashley, a bubbly early-elementary school teacher with a deep love for Harry Potter. Rob, a wicked-smart upper-elementary school teacher with a seemingly endless book knowledge. Married for two years their next adventure takes them to the Middle East, Saudi Arabia specifically, where they will teach international students. Ashley will entertain and instruct a class of kindergartners while channeling Ms. Frizzle and Rob will be entertained by and enthrall a class of 2nd graders. Accompanied by their fearless-feline Oliver they will herald us with their daily adventures and, we hope very few, misadventures. Follow them, cheer them on, send them love and gifts of organic soy milk and Tom’s apricot deodorant

Rob and Ashley, I have loved your blog; thanks for taking time and caring to share your learning, insights, adventures with us…I’ve learned so much through your lenses and comments. I know that you’ve been co-learners with your students and such is a gift to them; what personal growth you’ve witnessed, by interactions, fabulous travel and the humility to embrace new and different ideas and methods from other cultures.
I too was blessed to visit Roma and surroundings, including the Amalfi Coast; your Thai, Saudi, and other ventures (camel meat and milk included), cooking classes (jealous I am) … you’re living life large, making the most of life’s offerings to learn, grow, appreciate, and share; it’s who you are and what I so appreciate about you. Hope to hear more; proud of what you’re doing with the training and gifts and zest that you have.
